For the nonfood industry, spouts and caps can also be made from post-consumer recyclates (PCR).
Closed material loop.
The recyclates come from the yellow bin, the yellow bag or other household recycling collections. The PCR is made from used plastic products that have already gone through a complete life cycle.
Certified.
The proportion of PCR-PP material is certified: ‘recycled content according to RecyClass’.
The use of post-consumer material conserves resources.
Up to 60% less THG emissions compared to virgin material.
RECYCLE
As PP mono-packaging, all requirements of mechanical recycling are fulfilled: NIR detection, floating-sink process.
