Spouts PCR
Spouts PCR
For the nonfood industry, spouts and caps can also be made from post-consumer recyclates (PCR). The recyclate comes from the yellow bin, the yellow bag or other household recycling collections. The PCR is made from used plastic products that have already gone through a complete life cycle.
Closed material cycle.
The aim is to share, lease, reuse, repair, refurbish and recycle materials and products for as long as possible. In this way, the life cycle of the products is extended. In practice, this means that waste is reduced to a minimum. When we talk about product concepts for a genuine circular economy, the reuse of products and the recycling of our plastic material play the most important role for us.
Certified.
The proportion of PCR-PP material is certified: ‘recycled content according to RecyClass’.
The use of post-consumer material saves up to 100% of resources.
Up to 60% less CO2 emissions compared to virgin material.
As PP mono-packaging, all requirements of mechanical recycling are fulfilled: NIR detection, floating-sink process.

The development of mono-material packaging, i.e. single-material packaging, poses a particular challenge for packaging design in the packaging industry. For our mono-material solutions, we make use of various implementation options:
- Injection molding with in-mold labelling
- Deep-drawing with in-mould labelling
- Low-sealing spouts for pouches
