Fluctuation

For a variety of reasons, employees change jobs or retire. The proportion of employees who have left their previous job is described by fluctuation. Well-deserved retirement is also part of this - as are the many short-term employment contracts of pupils and students that we hire every year to cover vacations. Nevertheless, the Pöppelmann fluctuation rate is very respectable in a national comparison.

Childcare.
We cover the childcare costs of our employees' children aged 1 to 3 up to an amount of 180 euros per month. To ensure the best possible work-life balance during the vacation periods, we also offer childcare (in cooperation with the Lohner Jugendtreff) during the Easter, summer and fall vacations for all children aged 6 to 12 years.

Stage and museum.
With regular collaborations, we offer employees the opportunity to take advantage of the local cultural offerings at discounted rates and also become exhibitors ourselves at the industrial museum in Lohne.

Appreciation and attention.
Good work is appreciated here. And because Pöppelmann employees do a good job, there are regular small and large gifts and tokens of appreciation. But we also have something for our employees for the birth of a child and other personal occasions - let us surprise you.

Parcel and laundry service.
Time is… time. To ensure that as much of it as possible remains for friends, family and leisure activities before and after work, our employees have the opportunity to use our laundry service and the parcel station installed on the company premises. Having parcels conveniently delivered to the company is just as possible as posting parcels.

Celebrate together.
We celebrate ourselves – our company as well as every employee. We like to get together for anniversaries, graduation ceremonies, company and Christmas parties and also enjoy time together away from the workplace.

Long live sport.
Physical and mental health are closely linked. We take care of both as a matter of course. With EGYM wellpass and Hansefit, we have two cooperation partners who offer a large number of gyms, swimming pools and many other nearby sports facilities as well as online courses. In addition, we also offer regular, open, balancing gymnastics for everyone directly at the company.

Biking to work.
If you prefer to cycle to work or simply enjoy exploring the Oldenburg Münsterland region by bike, you and your partner can lease and purchase the bike of your choice on favorable terms from our cooperation partner Business Bike. We are also friends of sustainable means of transportation on the company premises.

Prevention is better than cure.
Our employees can take advantage of various preventive and optional check-ups with our company doctor two days a week - from a heart test to a stress ECG. Flu vaccinations and all other services are of course free of charge. We also cover at least a not inconsiderable proportion of the costs for screen glasses.

Fresh raw food.
We support a balanced diet with freshly prepared meals and wholesome salads every day. Hundreds of portions leave our kitchen every day and end up at our employees' workplaces for a price of 50 cents.

Natural healing powers.
For colds or minor ailments, the free teas, creams, ointments and juices from our well-stocked employee pharmacy have been helping our employees since the 1980s. This was once set up by Gertrud Pöppelmann, the former managing director and good soul of the company.

Free advice.
Another cooperation partner that helps our employees with a wide range of problems is Talingo EAP. Whether it's initial legal advice, arranging specialist appointments, help with finding a place in a daycare center or mental health concerns, Talingo offers professional help. Completely anonymously on request.

Athlete in the making?
Of course, you don't have to be a competitive athlete to be part of the big Pöppelmann family. But if you are one and perhaps even compete for the national top in your sport, we will support you to the best of our ability.

Christmas and vacation pay.
... is also available with us, of course. A full 13th month's salary at Christmas and another 75 percent in the summer for vacation. Our employees should be able to enjoy both to the full.

Pöppelmann until retirement.
We believe that our responsibility for our employees does not end once they have taken their well-earned retirement. That's why we want to help them build up their assets before then - by offering pension benefits and a company pension scheme.

Through additional time off or special payments, we value not only professional but also private „special achievements“.

As flexible as possible.
Admittedly, this is more difficult to implement in shift work in production than in the office. But wherever it is practicable, we try to accommodate employees as far as possible in their individual daily and weekly planning by offering flexitime and mobile working.
