Training with a plan.
And perspective.
At Pöppelmann's training center, our trainees receive sound, practical basic training - across departments, comprehensible and with a clear plan. The focus is on four central areas:
- Plastics technology
- Metal technology
- Electrical engineering
- Technical communication
What is often neglected in everyday life, we specifically train here: from practical exercises to exam preparation. This is how we create the ideal introduction - from the first day to the final exam. In addition, the training center offers skilled workers room for further development. And we are already thinking ahead: in future, we will offer trainees from other companies the opportunity to use our services.
Learning through experience. Plastics and sustainability for schoolchildren.
As part of the 'Zukunftsmobil' initiative, our German trainees offer practical workshops on the topic of 'sustainability in the use of plastics'. There are four interactive stations on board the mobile that clearly illustrate the life cycle of a plastic product:
- Separation of garbage: your own contribution to recycling
- Recycling: Turning waste into raw materials
- Extrusion: Production of recycled material
- Injection molding: Production of new products from recycled material
The workshops can be optimally integrated into school lessons on the topic of the environment and sustainability. Alternatively, the stations can also be visited at our Plant 2 in Lohne - ideal for school classes and interested groups.
Strengthening digital skills. Growing together.
In Pöppelmann's DigitalLab, employees and external interested parties experience an interactive learning environment to get to know digital technologies and try them out in practice. The aim is to strengthen digital skills and promote new forms of collaboration within the company. Main topics:
- Cobots
- 3D printing
- Artificial intelligence
- Extended Reality
You can register at any time. Our experienced teams of experts support you in getting started and implementing your own projects - in workshops, training courses or individual projects. One focus is on citizen development: employees can develop their own digital solutions with low-code and no-code tools - without any programming knowledge. We offer targeted support and space for exchange so that everyone can develop their ideas further to create innovative applications in everyday working life and actively contribute to the digital transformation.
