We see all trainees and employees equally as partners – in the best case as friends. That is why we never consider the time during training without the time after training. We don't just train people to make Lohne smarter. We want to have the best, most innovative people in the company - preferably until they retire.
Full of variety
.According to an individual training plan, you will work in various departments of the company. You will get to know the four divisions and help shape proven and innovative forms of plastic applications yourself. Even during your training, you will work on responsible and exciting projects and tasks.
Features
.The support provided by in-house teaching, which complements the content of the vocational school and the practical training, is reflected in the good final grades. Internal and external teachers regularly repeat and supplement the subject matter in both the commercial and industrial areas. Our own specialists teach in their specific area of responsibility.
Investment.
Further training is more important than ever for professional and personal progress and, of course, for us too. That is why we support you after your apprenticeship with many possible further training measures, such as further training to become an industrial foreman or business administrator. A work-study program is also possible after completing your apprenticeship if you decide to go to a university or college after your apprenticeship. In any case, the apprenticeship with us is a strong foundation on which to build something.
Awarded.
In the first few months of your technical training, we will teach you the basics in the job-specific areas at our training center. Here you will find workstations with modern equipment in the fields of metal, plastics and electrical engineering as well as construction. The regular training sessions at the training center supplement the training content in the respective specialist departments and prepare you optimally for your exam. All of this has been recognized by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce with the "Top Training" seal.
At eye level.
Of course, we also want to know what can be improved in the training - which is why trainees are automatically asked to evaluate the department when they change departments - and vice versa. Feedback for both sides. We use modern software for this purpose. The assessments are then discussed in a joint feedback meeting, which, among other things, enables us to improve the critical faculties of all those involved. A quality that is important in many parts of life.
Find the right training occupation.
An internship is the best way to find a career that suits you. We offer school pupils and students the opportunity to spend a few weeks getting to know everyday working life in one of our company's many professional fields. You can apply for a voluntary internship as well as a mandatory internship as part of a school education or a degree course. An internship at Pöppelmann is also an excellent opportunity for university drop-outs to open up new and promising prospects for their professional future.
You can apply via our job portal. In addition, a „taster day“ takes place every year. This gives all interested young people the opportunity to find out about the various apprenticeships at Pöppelmann. In 3 steps to an apprenticeship

We try to give you feedback as quickly as possible at every step of the application process. There should be no months of waiting - without knowing whether you can now look forward to the next August in a more relaxed way or not. But you do need to give us a few days between the individual application phases.
Your data will of course be kept strictly confidential and will only be seen by the people who ultimately decide for or against you.The application process is very simple - the following 3 steps will lead you to your goal:
1. ONLINE application
Whatever the teachers or careers advisors tell you - apply online. This means less cost and work for you and for us - and is also sustainable.
In addition to a letter of motivation in which you tell us why you are interested in the apprenticeship or dual study program, we need a current CV and your last two certificates.
Of course, you can also upload additional certificates and attestations.
To apply, simply click on the "Apply now"-button in the advertisement for the relevant training occupation. You must then first create a profile and can then upload your documents.
2. ONLINE test
As soon as trainers and recruiters have reviewed your application and are of the opinion that you have made a good decision in selecting an apprenticeship with us, you will receive an invitation to our online test by e-mail.
You can start the test when it suits you best. You have one week from receipt of the email to do so.
If the test result is as convincing as your application documents, you will receive another email a little later with an invitation to an interview.
3rd OFFLINE introductory meeting
If, after assessing your documents and your test results, we are of the opinion that the apprenticeship you have chosen is a good fit for you, we would of course also like to get to know you personally.
So you can be completely relaxed during your appointment with us - even if it's difficult, of course. We're not judging, we just want to know if you're a good fit for our team.
Whether you drink water, cola or coffee has no influence on this - what you have to tell us and what you want to know from us is more important.
At the end of the appointment, we will tell you when we will get back to you at the latest to let you know the final decision - we usually manage this within a week.
