Pöppelmann TEKU® at IPM 2026: Performance for Horticulture

Under the guiding theme “Innovation Performance”, Pöppelmann TEKU® will present high‑performance solutions for professional horticulture at IPM 2026, taking place from 27 to 30 January 2026 in Essen. The focus of the trade fair appearance will be on innovations that increase efficiency, accelerate processes, close material cycles and, at the same time, ensure high availability. “Horticulture is under considerable pressure due to rising costs, labour shortages and demanding sales markets. Our answer is Performance. Especially in challenging times, our aim is to provide horticulture with solutions that simplify processes, close material cycles and support economic success,” confirms Sven Hoping, Divisional Manager at Pöppelmann TEKU®.

Innovation Performance – Practically developed, swiftly brought to market

The plastics specialist from Lohne once again demonstrated its innovative strength over the past year: in 2025 alone, 29 new products were developed, brought to market readiness and now form the core of the IPM showcase. These include the new VCL/VCM series – plant pots specifically tailored to the requirements of modern horticultural businesses. The pots combine optimised geometry with high suitability for automated handling, and support healthy plant growth through targeted drainage and aeration. Another highlight is the new MAO hanging basket series, distinguished by its base design. This allows cultivation on ebb‑and‑flow floors as well as drip and mat irrigation. The rapid implementation of new products is made possible by the in‑house toolmaking facilities in Lohne, as well as by close cooperation with horticultural businesses, whose practical experience continuously flows into product development.

Circular Performance – Closing cycles, conserving resources

Another key focus of Pöppelmann TEKU®’s presence at IPM is Circular Performance: all new products expand the closed‑loop Circular360 range, meaning they are 100% recyclable and carry both the Blue Angel environmental label and the cyclos‑HTP certificate. The closed‑loop programme is complemented by new reusable trays and a take‑back system for plant pots and trays.

Service & Speed Performance – Reliable and season‑ready

Pöppelmann TEKU® also sets benchmarks for delivery reliability and quality. With a storage capacity of 27,000 pallet spaces – equivalent to an area of around 3.5 football pitches – the horticulture specialist has deliberately built up high stock levels ahead of the season. Delivery reliability of over 90%, even for short‑notice orders, along with product quality of 99.9%, underline the dependability of the Lohne‑based company. This performance promise is further enhanced by exceptionally fast sample dispatch.
