Management Changes at Pöppelmann
Lohne. The Supervisory Board of the Pöppelmann Group appoints Bernd Moormann as an additional Managing Director effective July 1, 2026. The 45-year-old mechanical and business engineer, who is based in Elsten (Cloppenburg District), joined Pöppelmann in 2017. At the company, he most recently served as Division Manager of K-TECH, overseeing the automotive division, group-wide supply chain management, and the technical services department. Going forward, Moormann will lead the corporate group alongside current Managing Directors Norbert Nobbe and Christian Schwarck.
Matthias Lesch will be leaving the management board and the company effective June 30, 2026. The Supervisory Board and Matthias Lesch have reached this decision by mutual agreement. Matthias Lesch has been with Pöppelmann since 2001 and has significantly shaped the company in various roles—particularly in the areas of internationalization, marketing, innovation, and the circular economy.
"Matthias Lesch has made a substantial contribution to Pöppelmann's success over the past 24 years. We thank him for his extraordinary commitment and wish him all the best for the future," says Catherin Vitale, shareholder and chairwoman of the Supervisory Board, speaking on behalf of all shareholders and their families.
"After 24 years at Pöppelmann, I depart with deep gratitude. Being privileged to work and contribute to this unique team has been an extraordinary gift. Pöppelmann succeeds because of its people—and I am very confident it will continue to do so in the future. I wish them all the best," says Matthias Lesch.
The shareholders see Pöppelmann well positioned for the future: responsibilities have been clearly defined. "Together with our employees, we intend to continue pursuing our successful path as a family-owned business," explains Supervisory Board Chairwoman Catherin Vitale.
