Ausbildung 1 The key to a successful start in your career: the care and support of our expert instructors.

Pöppelmann has been training people successfully in various apprenticeship jobs since 1956 - a long tradition. Pöppelmann hired its thousandth trainee in 2010 and is one of the largest training providers in the region. We have set up a dedicated apprentice workshop specifically for our young employees. Here, the trainees are taught from day one about basic concepts of metalworking and occupational safety. This is also where the aspiring specialists prepare for their examinations. The workshop offers a total of 22 places at workbenches and is equipped with many of the metalworking machines used in the production departments.

A job with excellent prospects: mould mechanic.

Pöppelmann employs a total of more than 170 apprentices. Of these, 30 are trained as mould mechanics.

The apprenticeships at Pöppelmann, in both the industrial as well as the commercial areas, enjoy an excellent reputation. The Pöppelmann family-owned business employs a total of more than 170 apprentices. Of these, 30 are trained as mould mechanics. – For candidates with a specific interest in Pöppelmann WTZ, the Apprenticeship as a mould mechanic, specialising in mould technology is the perfect choice. It covers all the basic principles involved in the production of high-precision injection and thermoforming moulds for dimensionally accurate and efficient plastics processing. During the apprenticeship, candidates learn how to produce the individual components according to construction specifications on ultra-modern machine tools (such as milling, drilling, grinding and EMD machines) and assembly them to create complex moulds.
