This year, the exhibition season started once again on a very positive note for Pöppelmann TEKU®, our expert in horticultural products. From 24 to 27 January, numerous visitors at the IPM – the world's leading exhibition for horticulture – took the opportunity to learn about new plastic solutions and innovative ideas for profitable self-marketing. "Our team was able to hold many interesting discussions and welcome interesting contacts. The feedback we received from both new and existing customers was also consistently positive ", says Arno Zerhusen, Sales Manager at Pöppelmann TEKU®, looking back at the event.
Besides the extensive product range, we also set standards in product improvement. We always focus on our customers' requirements. This is how we keep creating solutions with real added value in our factory in Lohne. For the very first time, the results of our development work were presented to the specialist audience at the IPM and provided the basis for numerous concurrent discussions.
For instance, the expansion of our MDF cover pot series with additional versions for diameters of 7, 9 and 11 cm. The highlight: the elaborate water storage system of the plant pot series provides the plant with a steady supply of water. This feature is appreciated by both retailers and consumers, as they don't need to water their plants that often. The pre-printed labels, produced using the in-mould-labelling (IML) process, also provide high-quality decoration options for promotional effects.
The MCI containers MCI 21, MCI 23 and MCI 26 with a volume of 4, 5 and 7.5 litres are another novelty presented at the Pöppelmann TEKU® stand by the plastics specialist from Lohne. Now they can also be produced with high-quality IML labelling. The visually appealing containers are particularly suitable for promotional activities and have numerous additional values: on the one hand, the multi-hole profile bottom ensures optimal irrigation and water drainage and on the other hand, it holds the plant in place and stabilises it, thus preventing damage from stacking and transport. Thanks to the specially arranged stacking feet, the containers can be stacked efficiently. The patented in-drawn feet also prevent the plant bags from getting damaged.
"The numerous discussions held with visitors prove that our products are very well received by end users. This encourages us to continue focusing on further development and optimisation of our products and to base our products on the needs of the grower – for a real competitive edge and increased profit", says Sven Hoping, Sales Manager at Pöppelmann TEKU®.
