From 24–27 January 2017, it will be all about the international green industry again at the IPM in Essen. The world's leading trade show encompasses the entire value chain of plant production, and is an important meeting place for international decision makers. Around 1,600 exhibitors from 50 countries display their novelties in the fields of plants, technology, floristics and features. Pöppelmann TEKU®, our specialist for plant pots and cultivation systems for commercial horticulture, is of course represented this year with its own exhibition stand (Hall 2, Stand 2-D31). It will not just be many new products that will be shown to the specialist audience. "We want to present our innovative ideas for successful self-marketing to all visitors, and we are already looking forward to expert discussions and exchanges with visitors," says Arno Zerhusen, Sales manager at Pöppelmann TEKU®.

The inner rim of the pot is used to create a hollow space between the growing pot and the closed pot bottom in order to function as a water reservoir if required. In conjunction with the optional Waterwick™ stick, the plants are continuously supplied with water. In addition, the popular flowerpot series offers grower high-quality decoration options: By means of the in-mould-labelling (IML) process, pre-printed labels are placed directly onto plant pots to create a visually striking unit; thus making the cover pots great as an idea for gifts and special occasions.
With the PT 2556-12 F/8 – a marketing tray we have developed specially for the MDF 12 coverpot – the plant pots remain genuine eye-catchers. The open side of the tray permits the best possible view of every single pot.
Over the past year, the Bremen-based market research institute "Konkret" confirmed the sales-promoting effects of our products, such as the MDF coverpot series and the thermoformed marketing trays. We have already reported on the TEKU® effect and the associated study "Success Booster".
