Helmut Lörcks, owner of Gartenbau Lörcks in Kevelaer, reveals what a cooperative partnership means to him in the first place.

Helmut Lörcks simply enjoys being surrounded by plants, every single day. He finds working with "living products" particularly fascinating. On 23,000 square metres of glass and approx. 10 hectares of open land, this second generation family company cultivates numerous different varieties.

Together with his employees he strives every day to offer his customers a consistently high product quality. For this, he needs to be able to rely on his suppliers. The company can only maintain this claim if everything fits together perfectly. This is why, for instance, the internal workflow is constantly optimised. And with three sons, the company is already well positioned for the future: Helmut Lörcks does not even need to ask himself, if the company will be successfully continued into the third generation.

"Silverline" – The home brand for Christmas roses.

The company has developed the "Silverline" brand in cooperation with a partner business. This is their own concept for marketing Christmas roses during the winter season. In order to live up to its name, Pöppelmann TEKU® was approached with the wish for a silver-coloured plant pot. It was of utmost importance to the horticultural company that, although produced in large quantities, the pot would still fulfil the customary high TEKU® quality standard. The pot was developed and designed within just a short period so that this individual solution was already available after a few weeks. And this is just one of the many reasons why Helmut Lörcks describes his cooperation with Pöppelmann TEKU® as "reliable".
